Kenya Moore and Marc Daly came together to celebrate their daughter Brooklyn’s eighth birthday this week.
Over two years after their messy divorce battle concluded, during which Marc, 56,attempted to gain a stake in Kenya’s Georgia home, which she purchased before they wed, the55-year-old Real Housewives of Atlanta alum went live on social media to showcase their co-parenting relationship.
As seen in the video below, which seemed to be filmed prior to Brooklyn’s November 4 birthday, the child was seen opening gifts, including games, books, and candy, as she sat between her parents.
Kenya and Marc got married in 2017 in St. Lucia, welcomed Brooklyn in 2018, and called it quits in 2019. However, it wasn’t until 2021 that Kenya officially filed for divorce.
After their split, Kenya released a statement to PEOPLE magazine, thanking her family, friends, and fans for support.
“I’m excited for this next chapter in my life and being the best mom I can be for my daughter, Brooklyn,” she added.
Kenya then shared a cryptic post about “closure” on Instagram.
“Today is an important day for me as I wish to close one chapter in my life as I open another,” she said. “Please pray for closure for my family and a positive outcome. With love and hope.”
In the years since, Marc has hinted that their relationship has improved since their battles over finances and custody, even supporting Kenya after she departed Bravo after allegedly showcasing revenge porn against Brittany Eady on RHOA.
“You know what, if I was there, you would have never had that crazy [stuff.] You know, a husband sometimes has to stand up the same way a wife has to protect a husband if he’s going off the rails. I would have never let that happen,” he explained.“Y’all would have said, ‘Oh, he’s bossing her around,’ but you still would have gotten a check.”
He also accused Andy Cohen, 58, of doing Kenya “dirty” following her suspension.
Kenya Moore was featured in a full-time role on The Real Housewives of Atlanta seasons five through 10 and 12 through 15.
