The email informed her that the couple would not be returning to the show for Season 21.She revealed this in an exclusive interview with People. “I actually got an email that they weren’t coming back, and I’m like, ‘Oh, wow. Okay,’” she said
Janelle also revealed that she has not been in touch with the couple for a long time. They have not met since their family came together following the sale of their property covered in Season 20.
“I haven’t talked to them since, well, since we were all together after we sold the property [in season 20], and I don’t know anything about what’s going on in their lives. And so yeah, I’m like, ‘Okay, I guess this is what we’re doing now.’”
While she remains undisturbed, Janelle did admit that their departure may mark a significant change for the show. “It felt like the end of an era, but also too, I feel like going forward now, there’s so many beautiful things happening for all of us,” she explained. “And I think it’s nice that we can focus on that and not so much all the conversations that were happening because of things that Kody would say.”
Janelle said her six children were surprised by the news. “They really were surprised. But again, most of my children don’t really have a relationship with their father, so it was kind of just news really.” Although she did not contact her former husband or Robyn, Janelle said she hoped they were doing well.
A few months ago, Brown revealed that she had found love again over an Instagram post, introducing her boyfriend Pete.
