She also noted they share a lot of shared passions, including Disney movies and their love for food.
“We’re both carby people,” she said, explaining how they both enjoy foods like burgers, fries, and cheese pizza. “That’s the other reason.”
And Abbey’s mom Christine Romeo revealed how their connection goes beyond their common interests.
“First of all, David has an incredible family,” she said on the episode. “The family and the sisters, just it’s just a love fest. They’re just generous, kind, nice people. And David has all of those qualities.”
“These are two people with autism,” she added, “so whatever their relationship looks like is going to be what they decide.”
