Towa Bird clearly knew exactly what she was doing when she cast Katy O’Brian in her new “Dog” music video.
The queer rocker’s latest visual is packed with leather, chains, collars, and enough sapphic tension to short-circuit TikTok edits for the next six months. Released alongside her new album Gentleman, “Dog” leans fully into messy desire, obsession, and power-play fantasy in a way only Bird can pull off.
“Put me on your lap / Pet me just like that / Tell me I’m so good…” yeah, Towa Bird was absolutely not holding back.
And then Katy O’Brian walks in.
The Love Lies Bleeding star appears midway through the video, serving intimidating dom energy while Bird spirals deeper into the track’s chaotic “I can be your dog” lyrics. Safe to say, the sapphic internet is eating it up.
“The world with sapphic women is a world that is healing,” wrote one YouTube user.
Directed by Caio Vieira, the visual feels intimate, sexy, and intentionally unhinged in the best way possible. Between the crawling on floors, heavy eye contact, and industrial-club aesthetic, the whole thing plays like a fever dream.
Bird has spent the last few years building a loyal fanbase through her sharp guitar riffs, chaotic humor, and openly queer storytelling. With Gentleman, she’s pushing even further into that identity and giving fans a darker, dirtier evolution of her sound.
Honestly, if this video awakened something in you, you are definitely not alone.
