Music

It’s been nearly 10 years since Mac Miller premiered his fourth album, The Divine Feminine, and the anniversary is being celebrated with an expanded reissue. On October 2, Warner will release a new version with three previously unreleased songs, including the neo-soul number “Butterflies,” which is out now. Listen to the track, featuring bass from Thundercat, below, and check out Miller’s newly revamped website, highlighting archival photos and videos sent in from his loved ones and colleagues.

The Divine Feminine was a concept album that centered romance, intimacy, and the power of women. It included a star-studded roster of guests including Kendrick Lamar, Ariana Grande, CeeLo Green, Anderson .Paak, and Bilal.

Miller died in 2018 from an accidental overdose a few weeks after the release of his final album, Swimming. Since his death, his estate has released two posthumous LPs, 2020’s Circles and 2025’s Balloonerism.
