Tyler Cameron’s date-night essentials include breath strips and ‘nice-looking’ underwear

Reality TV

Ever wonder what your favorite celebrities buy when they’re browsing their favorite boutique or shopping online late at night? Welcome to Six Picks, where we ask stars to spill their style and beauty must-haves — so you can shop like you’re famous, too.

Tyler Cameron has yet to hand out his final rose.

But the former “Bachelorette” star — who recently partnered with Eventbrite on its “GTFO & Date” campaign — is no stranger to capturing hearts on-screen, whether via reality TV appearances or his often-shirtless Instagram fitness content.

“Got to make it real sweaty,” he quips to Page Six Style of the secret to his steamy workout clips, which regularly rack up comments from fans and fellow celebs alike. (When asked who’s slid into his DMs, Cameron jokingly replies, “Andy Cohen … that’s my Instagram boyfriend.”)

But while he’s often pumping iron online, Cameron knows planning the perfect date night doesn’t have to be a heavy lift; the star recently handpicked unique activities on Eventbrite — from speakeasy tours to Sunday jazz — as he says he’s ditched his previous “dinner and drinks” routine in favor of experiences that allow couples to “make moments and really learn from each other.”

Even Tyler Cameron gets jittery before dates: “Of course I get nervous … I think if if you don’t have those nerves, you’ve got to think if you really like this person,” he says.

After all, while he’s been linked to reality stars and supermodels alike — and enjoyed plenty of “the craziest activities” courtesy of ABC — Cameron tells us his current dating musts come down to finding “someone who wants to live the South Florida lifestyle” with him.

“This is where I want to have my kids and my family … I want to coach high school football here one day,” he says.

While he looks for that special someone, however, the Bachelor Nation star has everything he needs to get ready for a romantic night out. Below, he spills his date-night essentials — from “nice-looking” underwear to the under-$10 strips that had his breath smelling fresh as a rose on “The Bachelorette.”

Listerine breath strips

“Whether you’re out eating or drinking, you want to go make that kiss at the end of the night. You’ve got to make sure you got your breath covered. I remember when I was on ‘The Bachelorette,’ they always had those things on deck for us, so I was just taking them in … I love those strips.”

Tommy John underwear

“You go on a date, things escalate, you want to make sure you don’t [have] some janky underwear on … you’ve got to make sure you got some fresh underwear and some nice-looking underwear. Tommy John’s comfortable and breathable. I love them. And then when you take them off, they look good. You’ve got to have something that looks good when you take your pants off.”

Classic BYRD pomade

“I cut my hair off, so I’ve got to have some good pomade now to keep it all looking good and in place … You’ve got to look clean and you’ve got to look like you want to be there on a date, so making sure you’ve got the right pomade in your hair is important.”

A wallet

“Because, fellas, we need to always be picking up the bill.”

“I have a Rails jacket that I love to wear … and if [the girl] is cold, they can throw it on. But it’s lightweight so you don’t get too hot in it.”

“Number one, don’t drink and drive … but also two, an escape plan. If the date isn’t going well, you need to get out of there. You don’t want to take that weird, awkward ride home with a bad date, you know? So you have to have a way to get out.”
