Your aesthetic is really cool, everything from the fashion to your music seems like it all has its purpose. How much time do you spend on making sure that it all works in cohesion?
I try not to think too much about it, or it becomes a chore. It just naturally has its rhythm, and when creating everything creates its own course and I let the ideas and the story come to life at its own pace. However, not to say I don’t spend time thinking about these things and how they intertwine, because I definitely do. I make sure everything I put out has a story and a look to match it.
What’s a trend to stay away from in music and fashion?
I wouldn’t say there is any to keep from because any platform you can share your music and gain exposure is an amazing opportunity! However, we all know the biggest trend right now, is TikTok. While I think it’s an amazing platform for sharing and releasing creativity, practice and know your craft so you can keep having longevity with a hit song or hit video that shows your music. It’s all quick fame and can disappear just as fast as you get it. So my best advice is to work on the foundation of your music so you can keep the fans wanting more.
What is your vision for your 2021 music?
I am a lot more open to trying new things this year and am starting to really be fearless when creating. So I think my biggest vision for myself is to create beyond borders and go outside the box, places I’ve never been artistically.
