Did Jen Affleck Just Confirm She’s Joining Mormon Wives’ OC Spinoff? You Decide…

Jen Affleck is detailing the current state of her mental health.

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star shared that she is struggling with prenatal depression in her fourth pregnancy.

“Prenatal depression came back this pregnancy,” she explained in a July 23 Instagram post. “Only this time, it came back even heavier.”

Noting her mind went to “some really dark places” during her first trimester, the 27-year-old opened up about how the experience has felt as she has progressed through her pregnancy.

“It scared me,” she continued. “And if you’ve ever experienced depression, you know how isolating it can feel. Add moving to a new state, being pregnant, and trying to show up for your kids, and some days felt impossible.”

Fortunately, Affleck’s loved ones came to support her, which was a “beautiful” silver lining in the midst of such a difficult time. She said her friends and family made sure that she “wasn’t walking through the darkness alone.”

Despite the hardship, the Dancing With the Stars alum emphasized that her and husband Zac Affleck’s kids Nora, 4, Lucas, 2, and Penelope, 12 months, are helping her through.
