For the most part, none of us really know what to expect from Vanderpump Rules Season 9 since so many key players are missing from the equation. But now, we at least know of one major storyline.
James Kennedy proposed to Raquel Leviss. And considering that the cast just started filming, it’s safe to assume the big moment was captured by the Vanderpump Rules cameras.
The duo both announced the big milestone with separate Instagram posts. Raquel shared a series of photo and videos, including a close up of the ring, and some videos of her dancing with James with Tom Schwartz and Tom Sandoval in the background. In the caption, she wrote, “James proposed at the iconic Empire Polo Fields of “RACHELLA” Friday night… and I said YES! I’m over the Coachella moon.”
In his own Instagram post, James wrote, “THE LOVE OF MY LIFE, said yes.” He also commented on Raquel’s post to say “I’m one lucky guy. Thank you God!”

In response to the news, Ariana Madix commented with some heart eye emojis. Scheana Shay wrote, “Woooooohooooo” along with a diamond ring emoji and some red hearts. Former Vanderpump Rules star Brittany Cartwright said “Aw congratulations!!”
Charli Burnett said, “Still not over it.” Scheana’s man Brock Davies wrote, “Yesssssss” with some red heart emojis. Lala Kent’s fiance Randall Emmett commented, “Yes amazing.” Katie Maloney reacts with some heart emojis.

Rachella sounds like a lot more fun than Coachella, to me at least. Congratulations to Raquel and James! I’m not gonna lie, I wish Kristen Doute was still being filmed for this show just so we could see her reaction to this news.
