Salley Carson clapped back at Kyle Cooke on the latest episode of her and Lala Kent‘s shared podcast after he made a “rude comment” about her at Bravo Fan Fest in Charleston, South Carolina, last month.
While also explaining why she has never, and will never, hook up withCraig Conover, 37, reacting to the backlash a fan has gotten for asking her about her body count at the event, and admitting to leaving a couple of people off her list of Bravo men she’d been with, the 31-year-old Southern Charm star shared how Kyle, 44, of Summer House, upset her.
“I’m over it now. We talked it out. But … they asked [Kyle], ‘What do you think about Salley naming her body count?’ He goes, ‘Well, I’ll just tell you, like, I definitely haven’t been through as many Bravolebs as Salley,’ or something like that. It was like a rude comment. I’m like, motherf*cker, I am watching you go home with random girls. At least I know these people and where they come from,” Salley reasoned on the November 4 episode of Sex Unlocked, via Vanderpod Recaps on Instagram. “He was messy … [But] I love Kyle.”
Salley then confirmed she’d “never even kissed Craig,” as she reflected on a recent “cozy” outing between them.
“The mood was right that night and I kind of blacked out. And the only reason I know that all this happened is because I’m friends with the bartenders, that we were there til close. They posted videos of me and Craig being super cozy. I really think that we just missed each other,” she explained. “We haven’t seen each other in so long. So we were just like extra touchy and close. But I don’t think that I would, me and Craig are just like too close … We have a good balanced friendship.”
Salley also wouldn’t want to rupture her relationship withAusten Kroll, 39,
“Knowing like the history with Craig and Austen and their differences, I don’t want to do that to Austen,” she stated. “I think I can hook up with guys and Austen be like, ‘Whatever, whatever,’ but if I went home with Craig, it would be like, just really weird.”
According to Salley,“a lot of people” were mad that she was asked about body count at Bravo Fan Fest.
“Everyone is like, ‘Where is this girl [who asked the question]? I want to find her and hit her,’” she revealed.
As for how Andy Cohen, 58, reacted, Salley said he gave her support.
“He was like, ‘You answered it perfectly. No one comes and buys these expensive a** tickets for Fan Fest to hear someone go, “I plead the fifth,” or a no comment.’ And he was like, ‘Basically, like, if anyone has an issue with that answer, they have to come through me first,’” she shared.
As fans may have seen, Salley named four men she’d been with at Bravo Fan Fest, including Kyle, Austen, West Wilson, 31, and Steven McBee Jr., 32, but forgot two.
“I forgot [Shep Rose],” she admitted on her podcast.
“I forgot Joe Bradley too, but he’s sitting on stage with his girlfriend, and I didn’t want to be like, disrespectful,” Salley added, seemingly referencing the 31-year-oldSouthern Hospitality star, not the Joe Bradley, 29, featured on Below Deck: Mediterranean, who was recently linked to Lindsay Hubbard, 40.
