Italy’s Prada’s Q3 revenue rises 11% despite luxury slowdown

Italian luxury fashion group Prada SpA has reported resilient third-quarter (Q3) trading, supported by brand desirability and retail execution despite a particularly challenging industry environment. The Prada brand remained in positive territory, while Miu Miu maintained robust retail metrics against demanding prior-year comparisons.

Net revenue rose 11 per cent year on year (YoY) at reported exchange rates in Q3 ended September 30, 2026, while organic revenue growth was 1 per cent. Retail sales were stable on an organic basis during the quarter, Prada said in a press release.

“The third quarter unfolded against a particularly challenging industry backdrop. In this context, the Group showed good resilience, underpinned by brand desirability and strong retail execution,” said Andrea Guerra, group chief executive officer, Prada Group.

Prada Group’s Q3 net revenue rose 11 per cent YoY at reported rates, with organic growth of 1 per cent, while retail sales were stable.
Prada retail sales grew 1 per cent organically; Miu Miu retail fell 3 per cent on tough comparisons and Middle East weakness.
Nine-month revenue increased 15 per cent to €4.54 billion (~$5.10 billion), led by the Americas.
Versace added €441 million (~$495.34 million).

“Prada ended the 9-month period and the quarter in positive territory, supported by vibrant creativity and an ever-open dialogue with contemporaneity,” added Guerra.

Q3 performance reflects regional resilience

The Americas remained Prada Group’s best-performing region in the quarter, delivering solid YoY growth. Asia Pacific and Japan were stable, while Europe continued to show more muted trends. The Middle East improved sequentially but remained a drag on performance, particularly at Miu Miu.

Prada’s retail sales increased 1 per cent organically in the quarter. Miu Miu retail sales declined 3 per cent, reflecting a comparison with 29 per cent growth in the prior-year quarter and a less favourable geographic mix; excluding the Middle East, its third-quarter performance was broadly stable.

For the nine months (9M) period, net revenue increased 15 per cent at reported exchange rates to €4.54 billion (~$5.10 billion), while organic growth was 4 per cent. Retail sales rose 11 per cent to €3.93 billion (~$4.41 billion), up 2 per cent organically, while wholesale revenue climbed 35 per cent to €428 million (~$480.74 million) and royalties rose 77 per cent to €178 million (~$199.93 million).

Versace contributed net revenue of €441 million (~$495.34 million) during the period as its integration progressed. The business continued to manage its transition and establish the foundations for its new creative debut in 2027.

Prada retail sales rose 2 per cent organically over the nine months, while Miu Miu sales increased 1 per cent organically, compared with 41 per cent growth a year earlier. The group said product innovation, cultural relevance and a balanced category mix supported the Prada brand’s performance.

Americas lead regional growth

Asia Pacific retail sales rose 12 per cent at constant exchange rates to €1.34 billion (~$1.51 billion), including 5 per cent organic growth. The region’s performance was supported by retail execution, although subdued traffic in China (excluding Hong Kong and Macau) was offset by positive trends elsewhere, particularly in Korea, Hong Kong and Macau.

Retail sales in the Americas increased 33 per cent to €851 million (~$955.87 million), with organic growth of 13 per cent, driven by robust domestic demand. Europe grew 5 per cent to €1.18 billion (~$1.33 billion), although organic sales declined 3 per cent. Japan advanced 5 per cent to €424 million (~$476.25 million), with organic growth of 2 per cent, while the Middle East declined 23 per cent to €136 million (~$152.76 million).

The company said it would continue to nurture brand desirability while preserving credibility and authenticity with discipline. Chairman and executive director Patrizio Bertelli said the group remained focused on creativity, product excellence and manufacturing know-how, including its recently opened leather goods production facility in Piancastagnaio, Tuscany.
