Grey’s Anatomy Season 23 Reveals 3 New Cast Members

Celebrity

Grey’s Anatomy has some new stars scrubbing in.

Before season 23 of the Shonda Rhimes series premieres on Oct. 15, Shondaland confirmed Sarah Levy, Trevor Tordjman and Station 19 alum Martin Martinez have officially signed on to the cast.

While the newly arrived stars appear to be part of the Grey Sloan Memorial family, per Shondaland, their roles as either doctors or patients have not yet been confirmed. Levy’s character Corrie Witty is described as an “oddball” who is expecting her second child after “a traumatic birth experience” with her first.

Martinez, meanwhile, makes his jump from Seattle’s Station 19 firehouse to Grey Sloan, though he will not be reprising his character, Sean, from his season two appearance on the spin-off series. Instead, he will play newcomer Charlie, who is described as having “some emotional armor” due to a “tough upbringing.”

Finally, Tordjman just might be following in the footsteps of T.R. Knight’s Dr. George O’Malley, as he is descried as a “boy next door” type who has arrived as the hospital to “monitor the well-being of his brother’s girlfriend.” His intentions, however, may hold more than meets the eye, with his character description teasing, “What a good brother!”
