Elliot Page is feeling stronger than ever.
The actor recently gave fans a look inside his boxing training, sharing shirtless photos and videos from the gym that showcase months of hard work in the ring.
Alongside the post, Page credited his coach with helping him grow not only as a boxer but also in the mental and strategic side of the sport, calling boxing an “essential part” of his life.
The videos capture Page moving through drills with speed and confidence, offering a glimpse at a fitness journey that has become a meaningful part of his daily routine.
Building strength inside and outside the ring
While fans were quick to praise his athleticism and dedication, the post also reflects a broader chapter in Page’s life.
Since coming out as transgender in 2020, Page has spoken openly about what it has meant to finally feel at home in his body. He has shared how gender-affirming care transformed his relationship with himself, allowing him to experience moments of joy and confidence that once felt out of reach.
“It’s the little things … getting out of the shower, and the towel’s around your waist, and you’re looking at yourself in the mirror, and you’re just like, ‘There I am.’ And I’m not having the moment where I’m panicked,” he told Oprah Winfrey in 2021.
That sense of self-acceptance has become a recurring theme in both his public life and the projects he chooses to take on.
Continuing to champion queer stories
Off-screen, Page remains one of Hollywood’s most visible advocates for trans representation.
He recently narrated and co-produced the documentary Second Nature, which explores same-sex relationships and gender diversity throughout the animal kingdom. The film challenges the long-standing misconception that queerness is somehow “unnatural” by highlighting scientific research that has often been overlooked or erased.
Speaking about the documentary, Page has reflected on growing up as a queer kid feeling isolated and believing something was wrong with him, saying he hopes the film helps audiences see that queer identities have always existed in nature.
His advocacy has extended beyond documentaries as well. In 2023, Page released his bestselling memoir, Pageboy, offering an honest look at his life, career, and journey toward living authentically.
On-screen, he also helped bring authentic trans storytelling to mainstream audiences when his transition was thoughtfully incorporated into the storyline of his character, Viktor, in The Umbrella Academy. He later starred in Close to You, portraying a trans man returning to his hometown for a family gathering, further expanding the landscape of nuanced trans representation in film.
Next, Page will star in The Odyssey, the highly anticipated epic from Christopher Nolan. He plays Sinon, a Greek soldier and cousin of Odysseus who fought alongside Odysseus during the Trojan War.
