This month marks the end of an era as Heartstopper Forever brings Nick and Charlie’s love story to its emotional conclusion. Alongside the highly anticipated finale, Netflix is also serving up the final season of Survival of the Thickest, a sports comedy featuring out comedian Fortune Feimster, and the return of several queer fan favorites.

‘The Hawk’ (July 16)
Will Ferrell leads the new sports comedy The Hawk as a washed-up golf legend looking for redemption. While Ferrell brings the laughs, queer audiences will also be excited to see Fortune Feimster join the ensemble cast alongside Molly Shannon, Chris Parnell and Luke Wilson. If the trailer is any indication, expect over-the-top comedy, outrageous characters, and plenty of absurd golf antics.
‘Heartstopper Forever’ (July 17)

After three beloved seasons, Heartstopper comes to an end with its feature-length finale. Heartstopper Forever follows Nick and Charlie as they face the next chapter of their relationship while preparing for university and navigating the possibility of long-distance love.
Based on Alice Oseman’s beloved graphic novels and written by Oseman herself, the film reunites Kit Connor and Joe Locke one final time for what promises to be one of Netflix’s biggest LGBTQ+ events of the year.

The beloved baseball classic A League of Their Own remains an undeniable queer favorite decades after its release, while Todd Field’s psychological drama TÁR returns later in the month for anyone still fascinated by Cate Blanchett’s unforgettable performance.
Looking for something a little campier? White Chicks is back for another round of endlessly quotable comedy, and horror fans can revisit the original Scream trilogy before spooky season officially begins.
