The Department of Homeland Security posted a wildly inhumane AI-generated image of four alligators wearing ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) hats and lined up outside a detention facility.
The post reads, “Coming Soon!” and is likely a reference to the new migrant detention facility the administration plans to open in the Florida Everglades, which has been nicknamed “Alligator Alcatraz.”

The picture seems to be “joking” that vicious alligators will be waiting to attack undocumented immigrants. The new detention center is set to open in July and has brought out extreme cruelty from the Florida GOP, which is selling “Alligator Alcatraz” merchandise on its website. Folks can purchase hats, shirts, and beer koozies that celebrate detaining innocent people.
Folks on social media were horrified by the post, calling it “despicable” and reminiscent of Nazi rhetoric.
