Puerto Rican singer Jhayco (fka Jhay Cortez) has recruited Peso Pluma for his new song “Ex-Special.” Check out the song below.

Since releasing his last studio album, Timelezz, in 2021, Jhayco has collaborated with Myke Towers, Anuel AA, Quevedo, Tainy, Duki, and more. He also shared the solo single “Holanda” and joined Bad Bunny during his Coachella set earlier this year.

Peso Pluma has had an ascendant 2023. In April he joined Becky G onstage at Coachella to perform their single “Chanel.” “Ella Baila Sola,” his collaboration with Eslabón Armado, became the first regional Mexican song to reach No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart; he would perform the song live on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. In June, he recorded a Bzrp Music Session and dropped his latest LP, Genesis. He also dropped the Karol G collaboration “Qlona” earlier this month.
