Dolores Catania is clearing up any confusion over her use of Ozempic.

“There are layers,” the “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star says in an upcoming episode of Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast before claiming she is taking the controversial, celebrity-beloved weight-loss drug for medical reasons.

“I’m going through menopause, I have a thyroid issue, I have inflammation and weight is hard to take off,” she explains.

“And I work out, and I don’t eat crazy, and I was gaining weight, and it’s a lot of different layers. … Let’s just let everybody know.”

Catania, 52, admitted during the April 4 broadcast of “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” that she had been taking the antidiabetic medication for six weeks to lose weight.

“I wasn’t going to come to the [‘RHONJ’ Season 13] reunion looking any bigger than anyone else, so I got on the bandwagon,” she said at the time, joking that “not one” of her co-stars wasn’t also taking Ozempic.

When host Andy Cohen asked about Catania’s side effects, she replied, “Just not hungry.”

The Bravolebrity then said that she was “actually [taking] Mounjaro,” acknowledging that the semaglutide medication is “another part” of the Ozempic branch.

“The reunion is in two weeks. I do have a trainer,” added Catania, who said she prides herself on “tell[ing] the truth.”

But on “Virtual Reali-Tea,” the reality star says her “reunion” comment was made in jest.

“You know what? It’s not just for the reunion, by the way,” she tells us.

“Like, me and Andy were having like a funny kind of banter, and that’s all it meant — and I took a little hit for that.”

Catania elaborates that she received blowback from fans who did not agree with her decision amid shortages of the drug, which is intended to treat Type II diabetes.

“I have never gotten so attacked in my life. And I’m OK with it … because it’s not going to make me be somebody who I’m not and not be honest moving forward,” she shares.

“I will still be who I am regardless of what people want to say to me for it.”

Though her delivery was not as direct, Catania’s castmate Jennifer Fessler hinted at her own Ozempic use during a March episode of “WWHL.”

“I did lose a lot of weight,” the series newbie said. “I took peptides, and I don’t know if you’ve heard of medications associated with [peptides] that help people lose weight.”

“RHONJ” mainstay Margaret Josephs, for her part, revealed on April 4 that she shed 22 pounds on peptides and hormonal replacement therapy.

“The Real Housewives of New Jersey” airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
