Kim Kardashian to star in ‘American Horror Story’ Season 12

From reality TV to the Ryan Murphy universe.

Kim Kardashian is set to star in “American Horror Story” Season 12, the series’ co-creator revealed on Monday.

“Kim is among the biggest and brightest television stars in the world and we are thrilled to welcome her to the ‘AHS family,” Murphy, 57, told The Hollywood Reporter in a statement.

Kardashian, 42, will assume a role specifically written with her in mind, the outlet reports.

She is joining longtime Murphy collaborator Emma Roberts in the anthology’s new installment, titled “Delicate,” based on Danielle Valentine’s upcoming novel “Delicate Condition.”

“Emma and I are excited about collaborating with this true force in the culture,” Murphy continued.

“[Showrunner and writer] Halley Feiffer has written a fun, stylish and ultimately terrifying role especially for Kim, and this season is ambitious and unlike anything we have ever done.”

Following Murphy’s announcement, Kardashian shared a teaser for “AHS” Season 12 on her Instagram page.

The clip includes her name and Roberts’ flashing onscreen as the voices of children can be heard over an eerie instrumental version of the lullaby “Rock-a-bye Baby.”

Kardashian simply captioned her post with two emojis: eyes and a drop of blood.

A portion of the Skims founder’s 352 million followers expressed excitement for her acting endeavor.

“Emma Roberts AND KIM? In MY ahs?” one person wrote, quipping. “The gays will go extinct.”

Meanwhile, other netizens asserted that they will no longer be tuning in to the long-running FX series with Kardashian’s involvement.

“Hard pass,” one commented, while another chimed in, “I’m out.”

Some were skeptical of Murphy’s decision to include Kardashian and even noted his history of stunt-casting.

“he just recruits celebrity friends. If it was written for her Im sue [sic] it will have zero emotional range,” lamented one individual. “Just look pretty.”

Murphy has taken a chance on famous friends before. He cast Lady Gaga in “AHS: Hotel” in 2015 even though she didn’t have many acting credits to her name at the time.

Eight years later, the pop superstar, 37, is an Oscar winner and has appeared in two blockbuster films — “A Star Is Born” and “House of Gucci” — and recently wrapped production for “Joker 2: Folie à Deux,” playing the iconic comic villainess Harley Quinn.

Kardashian, for her part, has had small parts in shows like “CSI: NY” and “Drop Dead Diva” and has played herself in “How I Met Your Mother,” “Brothers,” “2 Broke Girls” and the 2018 female-led heist flick “Ocean’s Eight.”

“AHS: Delicate” is scheduled to begin shooting in New York City this month and is slated for a summer premiere.
