Album Review: “Many Miles Away”

Music

Many Miles Away is the brand new album release by the project with the same name featuring singer/songwriter Michael Shapiro and guitar phenomena Miles Schon. The full-length record sets the night ablaze with shimmering dynamics like that of the aurora borealis. It has the power and the might of the Majestic Zambezi, as a drops like a curtain of Victoria falls.

The brain children of “Many Miles Away” Michael Shapiro and Miles Schon are both self-taught musicians who live and breathe music. Shapiro has just just completed a residency at the Sahara hotel in Las Vegas with his band called “Reckless In Vegas.” He has also toured with iconic groups including: Cheap Trick, Great White, The Romantics and has even shared the stage with the iconic Bruce Springsteen.

Miles Schon was raised in a musical family and is actually the son of Journey guitarist Neal Schon. Miles has shared the stage with Grammy winner Jonathan Cain, Will Champlin, Scott Page from Pink Floyd, Stephen Perkins from Jane’s Addiction, and a barrage of others. He is recognized for his fiery guitar, and soulful guitar solos.

Together they have created the Titans sound of rock ‘n roll with songs like “Get It Back”, and “Can You Feel It”, both released prior to the album as singles. Other tracks include “Wild Ride”, “Forever”, “Complications”, and a cascade of others, including the lead song “Many Miles Away.” The album was released on Friday, March 24 and it’s quickly gaining a healthy buzz and is available on all digital platforms……
