Why ‘RHOBH’ star Sutton Stracke ‘squashed’ Kathy Hilton slur rumors

Sutton Stracke won’t stand for unsubstantiated gossip.

In an exclusive interview with Page Six, the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star, 50, explains why she ended hearsay that Kathy Hilton called Stracke’s employee, Joshua Roberts, a homophobic slur.

“I don’t read a lot of stuff. There were … online things I didn’t even know existed. I honestly am running a business and making it grow and have my children and I’ve got family in Georgia,” says the busy mom of three and SUTTON boutique owner.

“I have things. And so I miss a lot,” she continues. “But when I saw that about Josh, that’s going to make me not happy because untruths need to be squashed. And no one ever said that. Josh was not even in Aspen. This was ridiculous.”

Stracke says that both Hilton, 63, and Roberts appreciated her shutting down the speculation in a March 30 social media post.

“They like each other, they respect each other,” the Bravolebrity adds. “And that had to be put to an end.”

Earlier this year, rumors swirled that Hilton insulted Roberts during a “RHOBH” cast trip to Aspen.

“Did Kathy Hilton really use a slur when talking about your assistant?” a fan asked in an Instagram comment on March 23, to which Stracke simply replied, “no.”

Stracke further cleared the air one week later by posting a selfie with Hilton and Roberts, accompanied by a pointed message.

“Josh is the best,” the new cashmere designer captioned the group photo. “And he got a promotion yesterday. He is no longer my assistant. He executes everything we do around here with grace and style, and we have fun while doing it!”

She added, “And @kathyhilton has been nothing but kind and respectful to him.”

Hilton commented under the post with a series of hearts and heart-eye emojis.

Teasing the forthcoming installment of “Beverly Hills,” Stracke tells Page Six that she develops a stronger friendship with Hilton and a “sister”-like relationship with Hilton’s real-life sibling, OG cast member Kyle Richards.

“I am friends with both of them. Kyle and I have become really great friends. Josh witnesses us together. We were together at Stagecoach last weekend and he was like, ‘You and Kyle are just like sisters,’” Stracke explains.

“So, I guess now I get to be one of the sisters and I think it’s been great. We can spar a little bit. But I love Kyle so much and I feel so grateful even to say that I feel like we’re sisters.”

“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” Season 12 premieres Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
