Review: April Rose Gabrielli “Bad Habit (Don’t Make Me Bad)”

Music

“Make way for the angels because they will fill your hearts in ways you can’t imagine”.

“Bad Habit (Don’t Make Me Bad)”, the newest release from quickly rising superstar April Rose Gabrielli is a cascade of some of the most intriguing  lyrics ever placed within a song. The song is taunting, audacious, dark, and mesmerizing. Some people have no horizons left to run through. Things that were once part of the present and the future speak all too loudly of the past. Are we shaped by accident or by our own design? Is “Bad Habit (Don’t Make Me Bad)” empowering or filled with hopelessness? That’s for the listener to decide however it is undecidedly brilliant.

ARG’s vocals rule our celestial body. It’s beautiful and filled with emotion and passion that commands attention. This song has a musical conscience. The music tells a story as well as the lyrics. Its climax is powerful and exciting. Its radio friendly, it pops, it dazzles and has a mind of its own.

Unmasked on February 18, 2022 via Soho Records (a SohoJohnny enterprise), and following the smash Billboard charted hit ‘Do You?,” ARG has already toured the world as a feature act, is endorsed by Casio, and is exclusively signed to the major publishing company BMG.  She was featured as a host on New Year’s Eve via the iconic children’s show Wonderama at Times Square and she has  been a recurring guest on the same.

“Bad Habit (Don’t Make Me Bad)” is an epic example of what April Rose Gabrielli is capable of. She is beautiful, talented, and an industry powerhouse in the making. Like a supernova she can omit the same energy in a single instant that our sun will generate in over 1 million years. She emits enriching elements to space adding further interstellar diversity while providing a shock wave that encompasses the clouds and allows a new star formation.

5/5 stars
