Stephanie Matto was a pioneer social media influencer long before she appeared on 90 Day Fiance. She has a sexy and flirty online persona that won the heart of Australian national Erika Owens and the two met in person during Season 4 of 90 Day Fiance: Before The 90 Days.
But during her scenes on 90 Day Fiance, Stephanie shared feelings of discomfort towards intimacy and meeting many of Erika’s prior hookups. By the time the season ended, the pair were done. Stephanie returned home to Connecticut to continue winning at being an influencer.
Recently, Stephanie upped her entrepreneur game by selling “fart jars” to her fans at a cool price of at least $500 per jar. According to an article by Entertainment Tonight, she amassed over $200,000 before retiring from the game due to suffering a heart attack scare. Well, excessive gas can cause similar symptoms. And Stephenie was tearing into the beans, cheese, cabbage soup, protein muffins, shakes, and eggs. After being prescribed a gas suppressant and told to amend her diet, Stephanie announced her retirement from a “Day in the life of a girl who sells her farts in a jar!”
Stephanie said, “I think at the end of the day, I always knew that there had to be an end to this. At the end of the day, I’m an entrepreneur and I’m somebody who always finds new ways to make money. And so like there’s other things I can do and I don’t have to put myself into a painful situation in order to, you know, to make money and survive.”
So who was actually buying Stephanie’s fart jars? The main demographics of her customers were 25-45 year old males from the Midwest. “I have noticed that a lot of the orders that are coming in from the United States are coming in from the Midwest,” she revealed.
Stephanie also had an international demand. She explained, “I have a lot of clients from India, Czech Republic- because I actually have a Czech background- U.K., Canada.”

And while discretion is part of her trade, Stephanie did reveal that a celebrity contacted her with interest to purchase her wind in a jar. “There is one person who is kind of in the public eye who did reach out to me and expressed interest in buying a fart jar,” the 90 Day Fiance star said, “unfortunately, unfortunately, I cannot say who because I respect the anonymity of all my clients.”
When asked if there was a celebrity Stephanie would want for a client, she revealed a surprising answer. “OK, so I’ve actually given this a lot of thought and the one person I would love to give a free fart jar to is Keanu Reeves,” she joked, “I’m just in love with him.”
Keanu has yet to publicly respond.
For haters criticizing her business, just know that Stephanie is, “putting a very nice roof over my head. I provide for myself, I provide for my family. I plan to give back to charity also with the money that I’ve earned. So I feel like I’m doing a lot of good with the money.”

This business venture also affected her personal life. Stephanie said, “If anything, I’d say it’s improved my dating life. My family, they don’t quite understand what I’m doing. I have family in Czech Republic and I have family here in the States and they are somewhat more traditional. So I’ve definitely had a lot of phone calls from family members who are calling me up like, ‘What the hell is going on? and kind of like chastising me and making me feel bad about it.”
