Every week of Fortnite Season 7, it seems players have more opportunities to get comfortable using the alien technology brought by the Trespassers during the invasion, and Week 5 is no exception. Unlike previous Seasons, which seemed to task players with random activities during the week, many of the weekly Epic and Legendary Quests in Fortnite Season 7 correspond to the main story unfolding behind players as they fight for a Victory Royale. Fortnite Season 7 Week 5 Epic Quests deal with fighting a war on two fronts, one against the Trespassers and another against the IO. The Legendary Quests for Week 5, by contrast, appear to suggest more activities to welcome the aliens, gain their favor, and even coexist with them.

During Week 5 of Fortnite Season 7, there are seven Epic Quests that can be completed any time between now and the end of the season and six Legendary Quests that expire at the end of the week. Players who complete every weekly quest will receive 390,000 XP toward their Season 7 Battle Pass. The Epic Quests in Week 5 of Fortnite Season 7 are fairly simple, and many can be completed in the same match if players plan ahead of time. There are named locations and landmarks at which players can land directly from the Battle Bus to ensure they have the greatest amount of time to complete everything.

Depending on how quickly players progress through each of these questlines, they may be able to destroy computer equipment and damage IO Guards at satellite stations around the map. They may also be able to pick up an IO or Alien weapon to use for damage later in the match. Additionally, damaging a Saucer with a pilot inside gives players a good opportunity to eliminate at least one Trespasser. Players may have trouble completing multiple quests in the same match, however, if the quest progression has not yet been unlocked.
Like last week, the Legendary Quests during Week 5 are likely to be a little more challenging because they must take place in very specific locations. Where the majority of the lore and season story used to be revealed to players in loading screens, it is now playable in the Legendary Quest storylines. The first Legendary Quest this week is a precursor to all the others and is required to unlock the questline.

Alien Nanites are a new alien technology that can either be deployed to create a miniature low-gravity zone, as required in the challenge, or used in crafting to change a regular weapon into an alien or IO weapon. Players will also need to do some hunting to ensure they get infected with a parasite. Receiving Slone’s orders rewards 15,000 XP, interacting with the Radio rewards 45,000 XP, and all the other quests reward 30,000 XP.
It is always a good idea to try and complete Fortnite‘s Epic and Legendary Quests in Team Rumble mode. This tends to be a less crowded game mode, affording players greater opportunities to complete quest activities. Recent changes to Team Rumble upset fans and will make questing in this mode a little more difficult, but players should ultimately still have enough time to complete a few quests each match.
