dud of a season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills really made me miss the early days of the show. Namely, all the drama and extraness that the OG cast, particularly Lisa Vanderpump, brought to the table. The back and forth banter with her old BFF Kyle Richards. All of the swans and puppies who were treated like spoiled children. And of course, all of LVP’s dry British shade.
LVP recently returned to Watch What Happens Live to promote her new show, Overserved With Lisa Vanderpump, on E! network. And of course, she couldn’t make her return without throwing digs. at her former castmates.
On WWHL, a fan asked Lisa for her opinion on Dorit Kemsley‘s new venture as a “restauranteur” aka decorating a private room in a Buca di Beppo. To make it clear she was shading Dorit and not the restaurant, she expressed her love for owner Robert Earl. To be clear: LVP would probably never step foot in the tacky and overpriced Italian chain, but she’s a gracious businesswoman. After the disclaimer, she went in on her old rival from the #puppygate days.
“I don’t think it’s really a restauranteur, is it? When you decorate a dining room somewhere in the backspace? I think it’s vastly different from running restaurants,” Lisa said. Truly, Dorit has no competition when it comes to Lisa and Ken Todd‘s game in the restaurant biz. Maybe she’d have a fighting chance when it comes to who has the most lawsuits.
Not only did Lisa shade Dorit’s decorating skills, (Let’s take a moment to remember the lemon-filled nightmare room where Teddi Mellencamp‘s baby shower took place) but also her other business ventures.
While Dorit really has had plenty of issues with the swimsuit line, Lisa is sort of the pot calling the kettle black. She’s been sued for not paying her employees more than once, and she and Ken allegedly weren’t paying their fruit and vegetable bills at Villa Blanca for some time. The former and current RHOBH cast is truly a mess when it comes to finances (looking at you Erika Jayne). We only wish they would actually talk about it on camera, instead of trying to woo viewers with the smoke and mirrors of glam squads and designer looks.
TELL US- DO YOU MISS LISA VANDERPUMP ON RHOBH? DO YOU THINK SHE’S SHADING DORIT TO BE RELEVANT AGAIN?
