“Invisible Stranger” by The PondHawks: Single Review

Music

The Beatle influenced Chicago based pop indie band, The PondHawks have unveiled their newest song titled, “Invisible Stranger.” The world wide relevant song is based on the pandemic yet it’s a song of hope and inspiration. Everyone is dealing with the global crisis in their own fashion and The PondHawks are no different. They swung into creative mode as many musicians were forced to do and came up with a talented way to cope and help the world cope as well.

Instrumentally, “ Invisible Stranger” is laced with synth, keys, guitars mingled to form an upbeat tune. Lyrically the message is strong with advice and even a warning vocalized by awesome lead singer Mario Novelli. Jorie Gracen adds her angelic harmonies to the mix, both heading for a melodic climax.

The PondHawks have been making music together since 2007. Their music is authentic and powerful. Their harmonies set them apart from many other indie groups out there today. They have a massive fan-base, well deserved and a sizable presence in their social media. For a while they were the best kept secret around, however now is their time to emerge and cast a shadow of light in the public eye. Certainly a band to watch and enjoy. “Invisible Stranger” is destined to make a splash around the world and shine in a dark world.
