‘Sekiro’ And ‘Dead by Daylight’ Coming to Google Stadia This Fall

Horror

Google honestly hasn’t had the best launch to its Stadia service, but they’re certainly not giving up. Announced today during the Stadia Connect event are two more additions to the service in Behaviour Interactive’s Dead by Daylight and FromSoftware’s Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. Both titles will make their Stadia debuts this Fall, with Dead By Daylight arriving in September.

For Stadia users, Behaviour have cooked up two exclusive features for Dead by Daylight in Crowd Play and Crowd Choice. Crowd Choice allows the community to vote and influence a YouTube streamer’s match. They will choose whether the influencer will play as a Killer or a Survivor, followed by which character. As for Crowd Play, streamers will be able to invite their community to join in on a trial at the touch of a button.

“Launching on Stadia is an exciting step towards next generation platforms,” stated Dead by Daylight director Mathieu Cote. “Dead by Daylight has always done well on YouTube, it makes for such a good show. Working with Stadia allows us to push it a step further and let our community actively engage with their favorite streamers through Crowd Play and Crowd Choice.”

Dead by Daylight and Sekiro are also available on PC via Steam, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
