Beach Fossils Announce 10th Anniversary Reissue of Debut Album

Music, News

Beach Fossils have announced a 10th anniversary edition of their self-titled debut. The reissue of Beach Fossils arrives with a limited edition 7″ of “Vacation” with the previously unreleased song “Time.” The collection arrives this fall via [Bayonet]https://www.bayonetrecords.com/). Stream “Vacation” b/w “Time” below.

“I was trying not to have any control over the music, to just let it come out of me. My goal was to channel it without changing it or owning it, the music was free to do what it wanted. Nobody knew who I was so I thought, “what is there to lose?!,” Beach Fossil’s Dustin Payseur wrote in a statement. “Well it turns out the answer is you have nothing to lose, and all of a sudden you turn around and you’ve been putting out records and touring for ten years. It’s strange and beautiful.” Find Payseur’s full statement below.

This fall, Beach Fossils are scheduled to head out on an anniversary tour with Wild Nothing. Find the bands’ tour poster below. Get tickets here. (Pitchfork earns a commission from purchases made through affiliate links on our site.)
