Simonetta Lein: Celebrating the Holidays

Celebrity, Music

Simonetta Lein, Supermodel and one of the top Celebrity/Fashion Influencers in the world appeared last weekend at one of the top influential holiday celebrations for 2019 in NYC. The SohoJohnny’s Holiday Soirée took place in the heart of the West Village in New York City at the exotic, Middle Eastern, “Casa La Femme.” The 7 hour event was filled with celebrities and offered a rockstar caliber concert that included, Leon & The Peoples featuring actor Leon Robinson (The Five Heartbeats, Above the Rim, The Temptations, Cliffhanger, etc), Kim Sledge from Sister Sledge (We Are Family), Eban Brown (The Stylistics), Magic Coleman (The Drifters), Michael Musto (former Village Voice journalist), and others.

The Who’s Who soirée entertained artists including classic DJ’s Tony Smith and Ray “Pinky Velasquez, actor Jasson Finney, Sex in the City’s China, celebrity hair designer,Mark DeAlwis, songwriter Mike Greenly, Nightlife entertainer and actor Tym Moss, and a host of others.

Traveling from Philadelphia, the influencer, actress, model, philanthropist and entrepreneur, was swamped by media and photographers. The trendy millennium originally from Italy has become a self-made woman empowering others internationally from the US to Africa with the help of her charity, The Wishwall Foundation. In three short years, after arriving as an immigrant, she has built a business from the ground up and has become one of the most respected faces in the fashion world.

Simonetta was called on stage during a group Grande Finale led by Kim Sledge, singing “We Are Family”, where she shined. Joined by other performers and celebrities the scene was something of a “We Are the World” showcase. Host, producer and recording artist SohoJohnny joined in as well before performing his solo spotlight. SohoJohnny is recognized for his edgy, unique and outrageous celebrations, and this one was no different.

Aside from showing up at the chicest parties and events, Simonetta has recently taped a segment on “Profiles” with Mickey Burns, a 20-year-old celebrity interview television program that has seen artists such as Joan Rivers, Joan Collins, Adam Ant, Randy Jones, Dick Cavett, CeCe Peniston, Mari Wilson, Robert Conrad, Scott Page, Smokey Robinson, Christopher Plummer, Doctor Dre and more…

On behalf of Simonetta and her Empire, she wishes everyone Happy Holidays…
