Horror

They always say never to meet your heroes, but that doesn’t seem to apply to the director of DOCTOR SLEEP Mike Flanagan.

In a newly released featurette to hype the release of the sequel to King’s and Kubrick’s THE SHINING, we get to see Mike Flanagan meet his childhood idol King for the very first time.

During the course of the video, King and Flanagan discuss the connection between the book and film version of THE SHINING and how this sequel has a connection to both, covering things that Kubrick left out of his adaptation of the iconic novel.

So watch them talk about it below, and may you always be glad to meet your heroes.

DOCTOR SLEEP is in theaters everyone November 8, 2019, but you can check it out early as a Fandango Event on Halloween Eve, October 30th!
