Shannon Beador and Kelly Dodd were enemies right from the jump. Kelly referred to Shannon’s beloved USC as the University of Spoiled Children and she was immediately on Shannon’s bad side.
It got ugly from there with plates thrown and Mrs. Roper comparisons. Then, the two of them bonded when they split from their husbands and they’ve provided fun TV (and Instagram Stories) ever since. Well, actually those Instagram Stories stopped and that’s because they’re currently on the outs.
In an interview with E! News, Shannon teased, “You’ll have to watch this season, but Kelly and I started off very strong. I spent a lot of off-camera time with her and we did develop a friendship. It’s a shame, but that friendship has deteriorated. So, you’ll see that this season.” Noooooo. Their antics are so enjoyable to watch. Let’s hope their inevitable fights are just as entertaining.
Shannon remarked, “I know what I feel, but I don’t know what you’re gonna see on the show. I’m assuming they will show what happened and it’s pretty serious.” Very interesting.

Then Shannon took the opportunity to low key shade Emily Simpson. Shannon said, “I feel as though I really solidify friendships this year that are real and still continue on. It’s always been that way with Tamra [Judge], but now with Vicki [Gunvalson], Gina [Kirschenheiter], and Braunwyn [Windham-Burke].” No mention of Emily. Wow.
Shannon shared, “I feel like we’re true friends outside of filming and that’s really important to me.”

In a different interview with People, Shannon named Kelly when she was asked who surprised her the most. Once again, she was vague, when she said, “We started out on the right foot and you’ll have to see that we didn’t end that way.” But, why?
