Ariel Pink’s Haunted Graffiti Reissue Series Announced

In addition to his just-announced collection of Royal Trux remixes, Ariel Pink has another new project lined up. His early work as Ariel Pink’s Haunted Graffiti is getting reissued as part of a project called the Ariel Archives. The first round includes Underground and Loverboy. It also includes Oddities Vol. 2, a compilation of one-off tracks, rarities, previously unreleased songs, and outtakes recorded between 1999 and 2018. They’re out October 25 via Mexican Summer.

A second installment in the reissue series will arrive next year. In the meantime, Pink has shared a few videos to accompany the news. There’s one for “Stray Here With You,” which appears on Oddities Vol. 2, and a clip for the reworked version of Loverboy’s “So Glad.” There’s also “Chapter 8: Some Tutorials,” a segment from a longer piece by filmmaker Salvador Cresta, titled Dedicated to Boris Karloff on which Pink also worked.
