Now in its eighth year, next year’s Salem Horror Fest runs Wednesday, April 30, 2025 through Sunday, May 4, 2025 in Salem, Massachusetts, and submissions are now open.
Salem Horror Fest 2025 marks the first year that the fest will be run by the Horror Arts Collective. The Horror Arts Collective is a group of horror loving cinephiles based in Massachusetts, all of whom have been members of the festival staff for several years.
Salem Horror Fest focuses on marginalized communities and showcases LGBTQ+ filmmakers and filmmakers of color.
The deadline for submitting your film is Saturday, December 21, 2024 and the announcement of the films that are accepted will be on February 15, 2025. If accepted, your film will be screened at one of the several venues in the Salem area.
