After a successful digital launch back on October 15, THQ Nordic and Gunfire Games have announced that they’ll be releasing a physical edition of Darksiders II Deathinitive Edition on January 28th for PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series. Pre-orders for the physical edition are available now.

This upgraded edition of Deathinitive Edition brings 4K resolution, ray tracing, and enhanced lighting and shadows to harness the power of current-gen consoles. The loading times for Darksiders II have been drastically improved thanks to SSD technology, ensuring a smoother overall experience. And for PlayStation 5 owners with a DualSense controller, you’ll also get to experience the full impact of haptic feedback, adding extra depth and immersion.

And once again, if you already own Darksiders II Deathinitive Edition digitally on PlayStation 4, you will receive a free upgrade to the PlayStation 5 version.

The Deathinitive Edition gives you the base game, with all DLC included and integrated into the game, offering a total playtime of more than 30 hours. The game has been rebalanced and loot distribution has been reworked, as well as the game sporting improved and reworked level, character and environment graphics.

Darksiders II Deathinitive Edition is also available on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, and the Nintendo Switch.
