DANGEN Entertainment and Black Seven Studios recently unveiled the latest gameplay trailer for their upcoming cosmic horror action-RPG Kingdom of Night. Originally revealed back in 2019, this new trailer reintroduces fans to a nightmarish, 80s-themed world packed with monsters, demon lords, and adrenaline-pumping boss fights.

In this new trailer, viewers can experience the intensity of Kingdom of Night’s gameplay, with action-packed battles that demand strategy, skill, and mastery of various classes and abilities. You’ll be able to choose from three main classes and nine subclasses, each with distinct styles and skills that allow full customization to shape John’s journey against the demonic forces.

Kingdom of Night is set in the small town of Miami, Arizona, in an alternate 198X, where a satanic cult unwittingly summons the ancient evil, Baphomet, throwing the town into chaos. Players step into the shoes of John, awoken by the kidnapping of his neighbour, sets out into the night to fight back against the demonic invasion and rescue his friends and prevent the end of days.

Being an action-RPG, you have access to a skill tree, which are split into three branches, containing 10 different talents each. As you level up, spend allotted points into any of the three branches of your class. Once you have reached level 10 in your first branch, you are free to cross over into another branch, allowing you to fully customize your play style.

You don’t have to face the forces of darkness by yourself in Kingdom of Night. You can either play through the campaign alone, or with a friend in local co-op. Team up and synergize different character classes, becoming a force that the underworld will fear.

Kingdom of Night is currently in development on PC via Steam, where you can currently wishlist it.
