Luann de Lesseps and Tilda Swinton have become BFFs in a New York minute.
In fact, The Real Housewives of New York City alum shared the surprising story of how she and the Oscar-winning actress recently became unexpected besties after a surprise meeting.
“She came to my show in London and I was thrilled,” the cabaret star exclusively told E! News at the 18th Annual God’s Love We Deliver Golden Heart Awards in NYC. “I heard she was coming, but I didn’t know she would come and she did. She enjoyed the show so much.”
Tilda was so impressed by the Bravo star, she actually invited Luann to spend time at her home.
“She said, ‘Darling, you spread so much joy around the world and I just adore what you do. You need a rest,'” the “Money Can’t Buy You Class” singer recounted. “‘After six shows, it’s your last show, why don’t you come over to my place. My humble abode in Scotland.’ I mean she couldn’t have been nicer and lovely. I took her up on it and we went to Scotland.”
