Sleater-Kinney have announced an expanded version of their new album, Little Rope, roughly half a year after its release. Little Rope (Deluxe) comes out October 4 via Loma Vista. With this news comes the brand new song “Here Today” and its music video created by activist art collective In Decline. In black-and-white footage, the visual captures the lyrics to the song as they’re projected, guerrilla-style, across the streets and buildings of Los Angeles. Watch it below.

In addition to the album’s 10 original tracks, Little Rope (Deluxe) includes three brand new songs recorded during the Little Rope studio sessions: “This Time,” “Nothing to Lose,” and the aforementioned “Here Today.” The expanded LP also boasts the Frayed Rope Sessions EP—previously released, stripped-back versions of a few songs—as well as special live versions of “Hell,” “Say It Like You Mean It,” and “Needlessly Wild” captured at the Forum in Melbourne, Australia.

Sleater-Kinney recently performed Little Rope cut “Say It Like You Mean It” on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and also rolled out a mini-documentary featuring the band’s own Carrie Brownstein and Corin Tucker. Their previous studio album, 2021’s Path of Wellness, marked their first record in 24 years without drummer Janet Weiss.
