Summer’s going to be a little less fun after this costar’s departure.
Longtime Summer House castmember Danielle Olivera announced she’s not returning in a full-time capacity for the Bravo series’ upcoming ninth season.
Calling her choice to exit “heartbreaking,” the app developer explained in a June 25 Instagram post, “Obviously this decision didn’t come without a tremendous amount of thought. Ultimately, I just need to trust my gut. If I can’t put 100 percent of myself into filming, genuinely and authentically, it really doesn’t feel right doing it in a full time capacity. The network, production, my cast, and especially all of you deserve that.”
As for why the 35-year-old is walking away from the show?
“Right now I need to protect and prioritize the things that matter most to me—my company, my people, and of course myself,” Danielle continued, adding that she’s “so grateful” to Bravo and production company Truly Original for supporting her decision to take time off.
