Italian brand Loro Piana extends traceability to André shirt

Fashion

Following the launch of traceability services for The Gift of Kings garments last year, Loro Piana has reaffirmed its commitment to environmentally-conscious practices by extending this unique service to another iconic product, the André shirt in linen. This innovative service allows customers to trace the journey of the shirt through the main steps in production thanks to a digital certificate registered on the Aura Blockchain Consortium platform.

This initiative underlines Loro Piana’s ongoing commitment to environmentally-conscious practices, with a special emphasis on transparency across the production chain and sustainable sourcing. By scanning the QR code customers can retrace its journey, all the way to the finished shirt. Information such as the place and year of production is immutably and securely stored on the blockchain platform.
