It’s been a while since we last saw that teaser trailer for Neill Blomkamp and Gunzilla Games’ multiplayer shooter Off The Grid. The game is still very much in development, but to show just how far it’s come along, Gunzilla teamed up with gaming personalities Dr. Disrespect, Clix, and Imperialhal to present a 17-minute long gameplay walkthrough of the next-gen battle royale game.

Off The Grid, a next-generation battle royale, combines an expansive 60-hour narrative campaign envisioned by Blomkamp himself, with 150-player skirmishes, all situated in the vast cyberpunk realm of Teardrop Island. The video walkthrough focuses on the PvE experience, where the previously-mentioned trio experiences an intense narrative-driven battle, “offering players an unprecedented glimpse into the dynamic gameplay that define Off The Grid.”

“Revealing gameplay walkthrough footage represents a pivotal milestone in any game’s life cycle. We chose to elevate this moment by inviting the most iconic streamers from Warzone, Apex Legends, and Fortnite to experience the game and share their unfiltered reactions,” said Vlad Korolov, CEO & Co-founder of Gunzilla Games. “Witnessing our project come to life in its pre-release state in the capable hands of industry leaders like Dr Disrespect, Clix, and ImperialHal validates years of tireless dedication and is nothing short of a monumental achievement for our team.”

Off The Grid features in-session customizations and loadout delivery, enabling players to modify their characters with specialized cybernetic limbs, diverse weapons, and various attachments. For the first time in any battle royale, players get to immerse themselves into the universe of Teardrop Island through cinematic cutscenes, which take place during the session, taking the idea of adaptive gameplay “to an entirely new level.”

Off The Grid is currently in development for PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. Currently, you can keep tabs on the game’s updates via the official site.
