Tom Sandoval charges at man seemingly attacking security guard in wild video

Reality TV

Tom Sandoval seemingly attempted to play the hero when an unruly party guest began throwing things at security.

In a video posted to TikTok Friday, the “Vanderpump Rules” star, 41, charged at a man who threw his drink in the direction of Sandoval and a security guard during a formal event that night.

After tossing the liquid, the unidentified man quickly grabbed a chair as the reality star ran toward him, holding his hands up in what appeared to be an attempt to de-escalate the situation.

The bar owner then attempted to grab the chair from the man.

While it’s unclear just how involved the Bravolebrity was in the heated exchange, security swiftly grabbed the distressed man, at one point by the throat, and escorted him out of the building as a tux-wearing Sandoval stood flustered.

Despite appearing as if the patron may have chucked his drink at Sandoval, the original poster of the TikTok video made a separate post on Saturday to clarify what really happened.

“I don’t think Sandoval was initially involved in the fight, that’s not what it seemed like,” TikTok user Megan Plays said in the video.

“I think that guy just wanted to be on TV.”

Before the TikToker began filming, she recalled the man picking up a vase of flowers and chucking it at the security guard.

In an attempt to “evade” the security guard, the man then picked up what she claimed was a glass of wine to throw, which is when the TomTom business owner stepped in.

Following the scuffle, the TikTok user noted that the “VPR” cast — who was filming for Season 11 at the venue — left the event and other guests followed suit.

She noted that she wasn’t sure if anything happened “in the parking lot” after the cast left.

The aggressive display might have ruffled some feathers at the moment, but this isn’t the first time the “VPR” cast has seen some drama since resuming filming for Season 11 of the hit Bravo show in June.

Coming off the tail of an explosive cheating scandal involving Sandoval, his then-girlfriend, Ariana Madix, and Raquel Leviss, the Most Extras frontman was seen being berated by a cast member just last month.

As cameras rolled, “VPR” star Scheana Shay laid into the Bravolebrity outside of SUR in West Hollywood. While most of the exchange was inaudible, part of the video picked up Shay yelling at Sandoval, “…if you hadn’t f–ked Raquel!”

However, the upcoming season will not feature Leviss, 28, as she has decided not to return following Scandoval.

We will see if the drink-slinging partygoer’s lively display will make it on-screen when the show airs next year.
