New ‘Dead by Daylight’ Trailer Breaks Down the Abilities of Nicolas Cage [Video]

Horror

With Nicolas Cage available in Dead by Daylight (albeit on the Public Test Build on Steam), console owners and those of us who haven’t delved into the PTB are probably wondering just what playing as Nic Cage entails. Luckily, Behaviour Interactive has put together a Spotlight Trailer that delves into the abilities Nic Cage brings to Dead by Daylight.

Playing a fictionalized version of himself, Nic Cage joins Dead by Daylight as a new Survivor after finding himself cast into the Fog while filming “the role of a lifetime.” Cage is now forced to survive with others trapped in The Fog as they work to avoid the ire of terrifying Killers.

Cage arrives with his own unique Perks in the game. With Dramaturgy, players will allow their instincts to take over during moments of heightened intensity. They might not be able to predict the outcome, but that’s what makes it so thrilling, isn’t it? Every actor needs a Scene Partner. When using this Perk, staring at the Killer will grant players a deeper insight into their process, allowing them to better anticipate the Killer’s next move.  Finally, there’s Plot Twist. Players will use their second-to-none acting ability to get deeper into character than ever before, making a bold decision that’s as risky as it is rewarding.

The Dead by Daylight: Nicolas Cage Chapter will be available for purchase on July 25th, and the exclusive Dead by Daylight: Nicolas Cage Chapter Pack will be available at the same time on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam, the Epic Games Store, Windows Store.
