Fans urged “1000-Lb. Sisters” star Amy Slaton to lay off the filters on social media.
Earlier this week, the reality star shared a TikTok video of herself sitting in the car wearing a pink Barbie-adorned T-shirt, set to the tune of Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice’s new “Barbie World” single.
In the clip, which played in a repeated loop, Slaton’s face was heavily edited, giving her bright rosy cheeks.
While several fans praised the TLC star’s beauty after her dramatic weight loss, others felt like she needed to show more of that natural look online.
“You don’t need all those filters stay true to yourself who you are,” one person wrote.
“please Amy, don’t use filters like your sister does. Your (sic) already Beautiful without putting fake pics up,” another added.

Despite what people have to say, Slaton has seemed to be in good spirits — especially after dropping more than 125 pounds.
During Season 1 of “1000-Lb. Sisters,” which premiered in January 2020, Slaton weighed more than 400 pounds.
After undergoing gastric bypass surgery, she dropped an additional 136 pounds, putting her weigh-in at 275 pounds.
Although Slaton’s health began improving, her love life was not doing as well.
In March 2023, her husband, Michael Halterman, filed for divorce from the reality star in Union County, Ky., according to court records seen by Page Six at the time.
Per Us Weekly, Halterman, 40, requested that the court “enter a civil restraining order” that would keep both parties “500 feet from one another at all times” and make them stay “500 feet from the residence of the other party.”
He also wanted the restraining order to include a stipulation that would prevent either party from making “any public statements or social media postings concerning this litigation or one another.”
The estranged couple eloped in 2017 before having a formal wedding in 2019, which was documented on the TLC series.
The split came less than a year after Slaton gave birth to their youngest son, Glenn Allen, in July 2022. Halterman and the TV star are also parents to son Gage, who was born in November 2020.
