Vanderpump Rules star Ariana Madix deserves everyone’s support. Her longtime boyfriend Tom Sandoval and supposed friend Raquel Leviss were having a seven-month-long affair behind her back. Consequently, Ariana kicked Sandoval to the curb as soon as she discovered his infidelity.
Even Pump Rules alum Jax Taylor, an admitted cheating expert, called out Sandoval for his lack of empathy. No wonder they were best buddies. Tom issued a lukewarm apology… to his business. When that didn’t fly, he issued an apology to Ariana. Raquel also apologized but managed to rationalize her behavior.
Ariana escaped all the Scandoval madness by attending a friend’s wedding in Mexico. Sources reportedly saw Ariana dancing and drinking in the street during the celebration. Good for her!
While Ariana may be the injured party in this salacious saga, don’t get it twisted. The mixologist isn’t going to play the victim. She is leaving that role open for Raquel.
Ariana thanked her supporters via an Instagram post. The VPR star ended with, “What doesn’t kill me better run.” She added a photo of her wearing a green and pink ombre maxi dress. Real Housewives of New Jersey star Melissa Gorga’s boutique sells the same dress. In fact, Melissa plans on renaming the dress after Ariana. She was glowing in that photo, and I hope Sandoval took note of what he is missing.
Pump Rules fans know that Ariana was born cool, and she continued to show everyone how it is done. Recently, she was quizzed by a pap about Raquel. “I don’t know who you’re talking about,” Ariana replied. True Mariah Carey vibes right there.
And in the VPR mid-season trailer, when a clueless Sandoval asked her what she wanted (meaning from the kitchen), her response was iconic. “For you to die,” she stated.
Thankfully, both Raquel and Scheana Shay were present at the Season 10 reunion. The situation looked dicey because of the temporary restraining order Raquel obtained after alleging that Scheana assaulted her. But Big Daddy Andy Cohen worked it out.
According to Page Six, Andy chatted it up with an off-screen Ariana in an Instagram Story video. “Ariana, is it safe to say you’re wearing a revenge dress today?” Andy asked. “I think it certainly looks that way, huh?” she cheekily replied.
Lisa Vanderpump also weighed in from off-camera, remarking that Ariana was wearing “half a revenge dress.” Ariana added in reference to her ex, “I think his eyes are gonna bleed.”
Andy responded, “I’m actually feeling a little activated myself.” Unfortunately, Pump Rules fans will have to wait a bit to admire her dress choice.
But Ariana let her fashion do the talking again when she arrived for the reunion taping. She wore a yellow tracksuit made by Boys Lie. The fake phone number 1-800-BOYS-LIE adorned the hoodie. “We’re sorry, the number you are trying to reach has moved on,” Ariana’s sweatpants read. Iconic!
Meanwhile, Raquel spoke out about the status of her relationship with Sandoval. “I don’t know where our relationship is going to be,” she stated. Raquel added that they are “not putting a label on” their relationship, and the couple is “taking a break for now.” Duh.
All in all, Ariana is so much better off. As for Raquel and Sandoval? They deserve each other.
