Married to Medicine fans are in for some big changes. Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Phaedra Parks is coming in hot. She snagged a doctor and had some availability on her schedule. So she might not have a peach but she does have a show. In true Bravo fashion, if one comes in, some go out.
Great news for Anila Sajja, she will now have time to work on blogging! According to ET, Anila’s services on MTM will no longer be required. Now we’ll have to mentally visualize Kiran Sajja’s looks of despair as Anila goes on buying sprees. Anila issued a statement saying, “there are three sides to a story: somewhere between their story and mine, is the TRUTH.”
The TRUTH is Toya Bush-Harris is probably chuckling quietly to herself somewhere in the confines of her closet. Also, “The truth is — only half of the rumors are true. I won’t be on the upcoming season of Married to Medicine but I won’t be gone for long…” Thanks for the warning.

She encourages her loyal fans to hang in there. “Thank you to my loyal fans for the support, I have A LOT to share with you all VERY soon… stay tuned.” Anila continued, “I have been working on some projects that will give me the FULL opportunity to continue to share my life journey, family, and my Indian culture. My ‘story’ continues whether it is filmed or not.” Translation: I have an idea for a show but no one’s interested.
Obviously, Anila is thankful for the opportunities Bravo brought her way. “[Married to Medicine] was an amazing opportunity and I am excited to build off of the platform I have been given. Thank you again to @bravotv and @tvbypop. Can’t wait to share what I’m working on next … The best is yet to come.” Narrator: And Anila was never heard from again.
Another star is also flying the coop. Dr. Contessa Metcalfe is packing up her stethoscope and moving on. She wants to take a pause from the crazy and hang out with her family. Last month, Dr. Simone Whitmore raised some brows when she posted a pic featuring Quad Webb’s ex on Instagram. Speed Racer himself, Dr. Gregory Lunceford was with the gang and all cozied up to his new woman. The photo caption read, “A night of fun & [poop emoji] talking! #married2med #getready #TF #justwhenyouthought”.
Basically, all signs point to a messy Season 10 for Married to Medicine. Additionally, Bravo had no comment on the cast changes. Despite Anila’s departure, she may be hiding in the bushes during filming. She didn’t sound particularly ready to leave the spotlight. Stay tuned!
