It seems that when families fight, no one suffers more than the kids. This appears to be true for Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga and Joe Gorga’s children. While feuding for 10+ years on Real Housewives of New Jersey, we have seen time and time again how the Giudice and Gorga cousins were caught in the middle.
Teresa is now speaking out about the relationship between the kids and addressing Melissa’s comments about her contribution to the family when Tre was away in prison. As reported by Reality Blurb!, Tre appeared on an episode of Access Hollywood’s Housewives Nightcap podcast.
The OG housewife began, “The girls are on the show because they’ve been on there since Gia [Giudice] was 7, [Milania Giudice] was 3, [Gabriella Giudice] was 4 and [Audriana Giudice] was born on the show. And they made them part of it by saying they put food on our table, which they didn’t.”
Melissa and Joe have long claimed that they “put food on” the Giudice table by filming with Joe Giudice while Tre was away. Something that Teresa vehemently denies. “If anything, we put food on their table. Let’s get that straight,” Teresa stated.
The Gorgas ended up filming scenes for the Bravo special, Teresa Checks In. At the time, Tre was serving 11 months in jail after pleading guilty to fraud.
Teresa’s take on Joe and Melissa’s participation in the show was because they wanted to be on camera. And not because they were “doing a favor or doing something nice.” Tre explained, “My brother came to see me one time and guess why? The cameras were rolling. He got paid for it. I’m getting the chills out of saying that because that’s heart-wrenching. He came to see me one time.”
The best-selling author and veteran housewife noted, “The past 10 years, it’s been heartbreak after heartbreak after heartbreak and I’m done.”
As for all the kids, Teresa revealed that they haven’t seen each other lately, despite Tre wanting them to stay in touch. “I know Milania and Antonia [Gorga] SnapChat each other and I don’t know if Gia Snapchats with Antonia or Gabriella. But the closest ones are Milania and Antonia.”
Teresa concluded, “There’s 11 granddaughters, including my daughters, on [Joe Giudice]’s side. They all see each other. They’re always seeing Joe’s family even though I don’t talk to them or I don’t hang out with them,” she said. “That’s the way it should be.”
