Ever since Bethenny Frankel departed from Real Housewives of New York, it’s gotten way easier to see through her schtick. Bethenny loves attention no matter what. It’s why she takes up so much time giving her half-baked opinions on current events that have nothing to do with her. B might have gotten away with charm and wit once, but it’s not a good tactic outside of the Real Housewives universe. Truly, not all diamonds and rose, darling.
Bethenny is always playing a game of chess, on or off RHONY. It’s how she approaches relationships in her life. She claims certain people when it benefits her and discards them when they’re no longer suiting her agenda. Bethenny also tends to buddy up with her frenemies when she’s facing a lot of heat from the public, which makes the timing of a recent Real Housewives reunion pretty questionable. But THAT’S MY OPINION.
B recently thought she was breaking the internet by posting a photo with Real Housewives of Beverly Hills OG Kyle Richards. Kyle and Bethenny’s history is deep and complicated. They have decades of friendship between them but it hasn’t always been easy. In recent years, the pair haven’t been on the best of terms. There was a whole issue with them unfollowing one another on Instagram, which we know is super serious in Kyle’s mind. Now, all seems well after a reunion in Aspen between the pair, according to Bravo’s The Daily Dish.
Bethenny wasted no time making an indulgent caption on Instagram about their friendship to go with the selfie. “Almost 30 years later, lost parents, marriages, a gaggle of girls, reality shows, health scares [and] a whole lot of life, we still have a lot to talk (and laugh) about,” the caption reads. Hmm, I bet Bethenny failed to mention to Kyle how she’s been publically dissecting Kyle and Kathy Hilton’s troubled sister relationship to make headlines. Doesn’t seem like bestie behavior, but these two calculated ladies handle things differently.
Bethenny and Kyle both posted the photo and shared their delight in seeing one another’s kids during the reunion. Yeah, yeah–cute stuff. Bethenny, you may have tickled us fans by reuniting with Jill Zarin mid-flight last year. But now it’s seeming like these Real Housewives “reunions” are coming coincidently close to her “return” to making money off of the franchise that built her. Again, MY OPINION.
