Lisa Rinna Reflects On The Love She Received After Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills Exit; Says She “Didn’t Expect It”

Reality TV

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fans were given the gift that keeps on giving with the departure of Lisa Rinna. Lisa isn’t inherently a bad person, per se, but her constant and unrelenting self-production of the show was exhausting for viewers. After an extremely toxic Season 12, the show was placed on a brief hiatus and Rinna was placed on a milk carton because she disappeared.

Currently Lisa is making the rounds and telling everyone how great she feels now that the ball and chain of a paycheck is no longer a burden. Apparently people have been showing a massive response at her exit and she is overwhelmed with gratitude. At the recent launch of her new venture, Rinna Whines Wines, she sat down with People and shared an update.

After reflecting on viewers’ opinions of her swan song season, Lisa hadn’t anticipated a lot of the positivity. “I didn’t expect that, I really didn’t,” she shared. Rinna added, “That is the thing that was unexpected to me the most about everything. I thought people would mostly be like, ‘Thank God we got her fired’ — and some were, don’t get me wrong. But the majority of it was love,” she added.

Well yeah because we LOVE that Bravo listened to their fans, for once. Not for nothing, Rinna is much easier to appreciate now that we know she isn’t coming back. Lisa said, “Even the way people described my eight years on the show, with words like ‘legend, icon, G.O.A.T.’ — I said to [my husband, Harry Hamlin], ‘There are things you’d normally only get to hear if you died!’” Lisa quipped. “And that’s how it felt — like I died, but I didn’t, and I got to see all the things that people would say about me at my funeral.”

That’s one way to look at it. Not sure if I could label someone the GOAT of a reality show when they showed little to nothing of their own lives. But beggars can’t be choosers. All of the positive accolades seemed to harden the rough edges of getting booed at BravoCon in 2022.
“You know what, there were a lot more cheers in that room than there were boos.” Is Lisa thinking about a different room because all I can recall were straight boos and Andy Cohen’s giant smile.

Lisa continued, “It really was not that many boos, and I hear that now because I can focus on the applause.” I’m almost positive Lisa gave the crowd the finger because they were absolutely not mercilessly booing.

Rinna wasn’t done. “It’s been very nice,” she said. Fully agree. It really is nice to know RHOBH has a chance to be refreshed with some cast changes. “It’s always nice when you put your all into a job. I feel like, at the end of the day, I left it all on the floor. I gave a hundred million percent to that job,” she explained. “And I can always look back — and I said this to our producer, I said, ‘I will never regret or feel bad about anything because I did my job. I did exactly what the job entailed.’ So I feel good about that.”

Hang on one second, ma’am. At what point did Rinna put “a hundred million percent into that job”? She wouldn’t speak about any personal issues other than soliciting sympathy when her mother unfortunately passed away. And we all learned the hard way not to talk about the husband.

Lisa is gone but she will never be forgotten. As she moves on in life, attending basketball games in boxer shorts and creating an alcoholic beverage that Kyle Richards won’t even drink, we wish Rinna the best in her next journey. We also wish Harry the best in his next journey because he’s probably packing for Canada right now.

TELL US- WILL YOU TRY RINNA’S NEW WINE? DO YOU THINK RINNA WAS THE GOAT OF RHOBH? DO YOU THINK RHOBH WILL BE BETTER OR WORSE NOW THAT RINNA HAS LEFT THE SHOW?
