Kyle Richards revealed that she and her sister Kathy Hilton haven’t resolved their feud yet.
“Things are not great right now, but I have high hopes,” the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star, 53, told E! in an interview published on Monday.
Richards explained that although she and her sisters have had rifts over the years, they “always come back together.”
(Before Hilton joined the cast, Kyle shared the screen with their other sister, Kim Richards. They also had a rocky relationship and feuded for several seasons.)
“I know that’s why I was so emotional at the reunion,” Richards said of the “RHOBH” Season 12 reunion.
“For me, I don’t think people realize how much it affects my family and the relationships, and I have been holding that in for so long, and that’s why I felt so emotional.”
The reunion trailer shows Kyle crying at the end of filming and pleading with host Andy Cohen to leave because she’s “really not OK right now.”
Kyle, who’s starred on “RHOBH” since Season 1 in 2010, added that this reunion “was the most difficult one I’ve ever done and that I wish it had gone differently.”
“It was the first reunion that we left and we didn’t have drinks or dinner or do a group photo or hug or anything,” she added. “It was just done, so I kind of was left with not a good feeling, and just trying to work through that.”
The sisters have been at odds ever since co-star Lisa Rinna claimed that Hilton, 63, had a “psychotic break” where she made nasty remarks about Kyle and their co-stars during a group trip to Aspen.
During the season finale, Kyle asked Rinna, 59, to stop talking about her sister’s alleged meltdown, to which Rinna claimed the remarks were so “vile” that she’d “die” if she kept it to herself.
Hilton and Kyle’s relationship has only appeared to worsen since then. The two recently got into it over Instagram comments — with Hilton claiming she was “bullied” by her costars and Richards telling her sister that she should know why she’s crying in the clip.
Part 1 of the “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” Season 12 reunion airs Wednesday, Oct. 12, at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
