Heather Gay had a s–t ton of fun while filming “The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip” Season 3 in Thailand this summer.
The Bravolebrity, 40, debunked rumors that co-star Leah McSweeney got in trouble for throwing elephant poop — but confirmed that the entire cast came in contact with crap.
“Listen, we were around elephant poop. I can confirm that!” Gay admitted during a recent appearance on Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast. “We were at an elephant sanctuary where the poop and the water that we blessed the elephants with was all mixed in.”
The “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” star elaborated, “I cannot confirm the throwing of any elephant dung, but I can assure you that [McSweeney] did not get escorted out of the country, for sure.”
Last month, “Real Housewives of New York City” alum McSweeney, 40, shut down speculation that she “threw elephant dung at a castmate” and was ultimately “banned from Thailand,” where the cast gathered for the forthcoming installment of the Peacock spinoff.
“I’m so sad it didn’t happen,” McSweeney joked in an Instagram comment, adding that she was sorry for “disappoint[ing]” any fans by not exacting such an “iconic” move.
Gay was seemingly amused by the gossip, recounting her initial reaction to Page Six, “I’m like, ‘Do they escort you out of the country, like, across the border?’”
Reflecting on her “RHUGT” experience as a whole, the Beauty Lab + Laser founder expressed gratitude for the close relationships she developed with the selected group of “Housewives,” whom she described as “strong, confident, powerful” women.
“I just wanted to absorb every part of it, being around those women,” she gushed. “It was a dynamic group and it was a great time. It was the trip of a lifetime and it’s a trip that I’ll never be able to duplicate.”
In addition to Gay and McSweeney, Whitney Rose of “Salt Lake City,” Porsha Williams of “Atlanta,” Marysol Patton and Alexia Echevarria of “Miami” and Candiace Dillard and Gizelle Bryant of “Potomac” will appear on the reality series.
“Honestly, I loved everyone, but I really bonded with Candiace. Candiace was my girl. I love her deeply and dearly and she rode so hard for me and was such a good friend,” Gay said of her “unexpected” friendship with the “Drive Back” singer, 35.
“I got along with everyone. That’s my brand!” she added. “But really, I was so surprised by how much I enjoyed and loved Candiace. Like, I could hang out with her 24/7. We were, like, sleeping in the same bed just napping together. She was just wonderful.”
Although Gay butts heads with BFF and cousin Rose, 36, on the current season of “RHOSLC” — which wrapped production before “RHUGT” Season 3 — the “Bad Mormon” author revealed that the two largely got along in Thailand.
“Whitney and I, we did not have a lot of problems in Thailand. We had a couple things, but we were there to have fun together,” she told us. “We did hang out. Candiace, Whitney, me and Leah hung out a lot.”
If Gay could have chosen one other “Salt Lake City” woman to have joined in on the made-for-TV vacation, it would be her embattled bestie Jen Shah.
“I would have transported her there halfway through the trip. Ain’t no party like a Jen Shah party, and I’ll go to the grave saying it,” she said. “She is a force to be reckoned with.”
“The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo. Peacock has yet to announce a premiere date for “The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip” Season 3.
