Harry Jowsey on ‘really difficult’ relationship with Georgia Hassarati

Reality TV

Don’t let social media fool you: Harry Jowsey’s “picture-perfect” relationship with fellow “Too Hot To Handle” alum Georgia Hassarati is not “sunshine and rainbows all the time.”

In an exclusive interview with Page Six, Jowsey, 25, admitted that the Australians’ romance has actually been “really difficult.”

“She probably wouldn’t want me to say that,” he noted, “but it has been very difficult.”

Jowsey, who moved from Queensland to Los Angeles following his breakout role on Netflix’s inaugural season of “THTH,” told us he and the 26-year-old brunette beauty, who hails from Brisbane and found fame on Season 3, have been “official” for four months.

While the genetically blessed couple lived together for three-quarters of that time at Jowsey’s LA pad, Hassarati went back to their home country about a month before our interview with her blue-eyed boyfriend.

Jowsey said the distance posed a major problem for the pair because they share the same two love languages: quality time and physical touch.

“We take those away, and we have all this distance as being in between us,” he shared. “There’s so many factors. I know my audience — they wanna hear that it’s been sunshine and rainbows all the time, but it isn’t. It’s so difficult to have something that’s long distance.”

“Thank God I’m leaving tomorrow to go see her, but the distance … it’s been very testing on our relationship because we don’t communicate in the same frequency if that makes sense. Like, she needs a couple of days to cool off things, and I need to get through whatever the issue is like right away so it can stop being serious,” he added.

“So we’ve had a lot of obstacles to overcome.”

At the time of our chat, the duo’s most recent “obstacle” occurred just hours prior.

“As of this morning, she wasn’t very happy with me ’cause I posted a silly TikTok that I didn’t think about, but we spoke on the phone and we laughed about it, so everything’s OK!” Jowsey said with a seemingly nervous smile, prompting us to inquire about the TikTok in question.

“It was like 5 a.m., and I posted this silly TikTok where I had screenshots of my DMs with Hailee Steinfeld just exposing myself a year ago. I was very cringey,” the reality star explained. “It was just something to look back and laugh at.”

The Season 1 star noted that a series of TikTok posts had most recently upset his long-distance girlfriend.

The video showed Jowsey reminiscing on his past Instagram exchanges with the singer-actress, 25, which included his flirty hello that was met with her quick “nahhhhh.”

Not a fan of the unprecedented Steinfeld-stan hate that followed, the admitted “class clown” said he quickly posted “a bunch of drafts to bury [that video] down [his] page a little bit.”

And in doing so, he “posted a draft with the girl that [he] used to see.”

“[Hassarati] didn’t appreciate it,” Jowsey admitted, not revealing which ex was featured in the since-deleted video. “And I was like, ‘You know what, looking back, I wouldn’t appreciate it if you did that, so I apologize.’”

“I know everyone wants it to be this Instagram, picture-perfect Hollywood couple,” he added. “I’m like, ‘No, no — we’re trying to figure it out. You got no idea. We’re worse than you guys!’”

In addition to modeling, creating lighthearted social media content and helping out a local homeless man with cancer, Jowsey’s hoping to add rom-com star to his eclectic résumé.

He signed to WME talent agency in June and told Page Six his dream is to become the next Ashton Kutcher (he’d love to revive “Punk’D”) or Kevin Hart.

When asked who he’d want his love interest to be on the big or small screen, he had his answer ready to go: “Outer Banks” star Madelyn Cline.

“I feel like Madelyn Cline ’cause she’s just incredible,” Jowsey said with that endearingly nervous giggle of his. “I think she’s pretty amazing.”

He added that the fellow Netflix personality, 24, “looks like so much fun.”
